Karan Singh Dhadialla is an attorney at Taylor & Patchen, where his practice focuses on complex business litigation and handling intellectual property disputes. Karan has experience representing companies in a wide range of industries such as the data storage, cloud security, telecommunications, medical device, pharmaceutical, and advertising industries.

Before joining Taylor & Patchen, Karan was an attorney with Latham & Watkins LLP. In addition to his commercial work, Karan was recognized at Latham for his exceptional contribution to the firm’s pro bono program, which notably included successfully arguing an appeal for an excessive force case in front of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Karan received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. While he was at Berkeley, Karan was an active member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and published two articles in its online counterpart: Golan v. Holder and the URAA’s Impact on the Public Domain, BERKELEY TECH. L.J. BOLT (April 9, 2012), and Patent Trolls Under the Patent Reform Act, BERKELEY TECH. L.J. BOLT (October 15, 2011). Karan also holds an A.B. from the University of Chicago with honors in the concentration of Sociology.

Karan is admitted to practice in California as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
