Max Twine is a member of the Leadership Development Committee of the Association of Business Trial Attorneys (“ABTL”). He, along with colleagues, organized a one-hour CLE program regarding legal issues related to sanctuary jurisdictions and how immigrant rights organizations are dealing with the Trump administration’s emphasis on immigration enforcement. The panel addressed developments in the San Francisco v. Trump litigation, how federal measures affect immigrant communities, and what Bay Area attorneys can do to assist immigrants and their families. Panelists included Yvonne Mere (S.F. City Attorney’s Office), Paul Chavez (Centro Legal de la Raza) and Lena Graber (Immigrant Legal Resource Center).
