Stephen McG. Bundy has been appointed as Vice Chair of the California State Bar’s Committee on Professional Rules and Conduct (“COPRAC”).
The committee, composed of 14 lawyers and 2 public members, addresses matters involving professional ethics and helps educate and provide guidance to attorneys, judges, and the public about the ethical duties of an attorney. The committee’s work consists of drafting advisory opinions on issues of professional ethics based on questions submitted to the committee or developed by the committee on its own initiative, and studying and recommending changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct. The committee sponsors educational and outreach programs, including an annual ethics symposium.
Mr. Bundy’s appointment will take effect in October 2018
