Yesica Hernandez is an attorney at Taylor & Patchen, where her practice focuses on complex business litigation, trade-secret misappropriation cases, and intellectual property and employment disputes.

Yesica earned her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. At Boalt, Yesica was a member of the moot court team, and she also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Paul L. Friedman of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Before attending law school, Yesica was awarded a Fulbright fellowship, and she spent a year in Peru researching the influence of Afro-Peruvian music on race relations in Peru. Yesica earned a B.A., with Honors, in Sociology, and a B.A. in Film and Media Studies, from Stanford University.

Prior to joining Taylor & Patchen, Yesica clerked for Chief Judge Ricardo S. Martinez of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and worked as an attorney at Lane Powell PC. During her clerkship, Yesica managed civil and criminal matters at different procedural postures. As a law clerk, Yesica honed her understanding of procedural devices available to parties in civil matters, and she has become efficient in her ability to synthesize and analyze complex legal issues.
